I created this piece for an exhibition at the Nepean Art Centre. I had to demonstrate what protests mean to me. I used a polyester plate on which I drew with a black permanent marker. Then I wet the plate with a mixture of water and gum arabic for several minutes. Next, I applied oil-based ink to the plate with a roller, pressing hard and quickly. To get a good impression, you have to make several copies. After three or four copies, the colours become more vivid.
